I figure I should talk about how I'm making this work. I'm using the awesome Love2D game engine (link). I'm editing my code using Visual Studio Code (another link). I'm drawing all my things in Aseprite (a wild link appeared). I'm making whatever music might end up in the game in LMMS (hyperlink). I use Tiled for all my maps, custom loader/renderer combo (link). I link that's it.
